Glasgow 2014
The race is on. Ticket applications for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games are open.

From 23 July–3 August 2014, the Games will showcase 4,500 of the world’s finest athletes – many competing after extraordinary achievements at London 2012. It’s going to be Scotland’s biggest ever sporting and cultural celebration and you could be there!

The ticketing process is simple and fair. It allows everyone an equal chance of being in the heart of the excitement. So what do you need to know?

  • There will be around one million tickets up for grabs.
  • At least 70% of tickets will be available to the public for every sports session.
  • Prices for all sports start at £15, with half price tickets for under-16s and over-60s.
  • You have until 16 September 2013 to apply for tickets and it makes no difference whether you apply on the first day, the last day, or in between.
  • Where the number of applications exceeds the number of tickets available, we'll run a fair, simple draw. It'll be completely impartial, selecting people from across all the applications received.
  • There are no booking fees and the cost of your ticket will include free public transport in the local area on the day of your session.

Applications close on 16 September 2013. So don’t let the opportunity pass you by. Apply for your tickets today and get ready to be part of the action!
