Sharing experiences to help learning

Holly Cram, Game On Scotland Ambassador

Blog / Jobs, skills and training
I’m in Dundee today to speak with teachers at a Game On Scotland event and am really looking forward to sharing my experiences to help them provide great learning experiences around the Commonwealth Games for young people.

My role as an Ambassador for Game on Scotland has allowed me to help spread learnings around the Games, engage with young people directly and hopefully act as a positive role model.

Representing Team Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games is one of the highlights of my hockey career and to compete again at a home Games in Glasgow is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m delighted to be able to share that. Youngsters in Scotland will be able to see first-hand how hard work and a little self-belief can make anyone successful.

My role as an Ambassador for Game on Scotland has allowed me to help spread learnings around the Games, engage with young people directly and hopefully act as a positive role model.

The impact the Games will have on our young people will be invaluable and I’m looking forward to working with these teachers today to explore some of the unique and exciting ways that schools can get involved with the Commonwealth Games as part of their everyday learning.
